In this blogpost i want to show you some images i shot with my 24mm 1.4 ART (Canon Mount) using the MC11 Adapter on the Sony A7II. If you want to read a full review and watch a Video Review make shure to go here:

Sigma MC11 Adapter REVIEW

All images are shot handheld with natural light only, edited in lightroom + nik color efex pro. How is it shooting with the MC11 adapter and the Sigma lens? The answer is that its really a great experience, it totally feels like a native Sony FE lens and had absolutely NO issues,  there where no errors or anything like that. If you have been reading my first review of the Sigma 24mm 1.4 lens you allready know that i love this lens and the image quality it gives + the very fast 1.4 speed, but now with the MC11 adapter it totally rules.

So if you are looking for such a lens i can definetly reommend the Sigma 24mm 1.4 + MC11 adapter, great image quality for an affordable price! Check the links below where to buy.

I will add more images to th is post, so make shure to visit it frequently!

  1. I both this combo and it is very disappointing. AF at f/8 and f/11 is almost not working. At f/1.4 AF is always inaccurate even in landscapes.

Luckily I own the metabones IV adapter and all works as expected with it – fast & accurate AF always albeit without many of the advanced AF functions and only focus points in the center of the frame.

    1. Depends a lot on the adapter and camera too. I found it to be pretty good with the mc11 adapter at 1.4 but not mindblowing of course. With my xt2 and the fujinon 16 1.4 its a lot faster
